Rosemarie Weiss

Andrew Mitchell

Rosemarie is a qualified podiatrist having completed her studies at University of Brighton in 2007 during its period as the centre of excellence for Podiatry in the UK..  Rosemarie has worked both privately and for the NHS at Greenwich Primary Care Trust and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.  Included in her NHS work were wound care clinics, nail surgery, new patient triage assessments and home visits to high risk and vulnerable patients.  Rosemarie also took over the practice in Peter's Chemist in 2008.

 

Since graduating as a podiatrist Rosemarie has continued her learning and undertaken numerous courses to expand her knowledge and expertise is the podiatry field.  One area where Rosemarie has particular interest is Diabetic Foot Care.  The driving factor behind her expanding knowledge in this area is in fact that Rosemarie has Type 1 Diabetes.  Rosemarie offers a unique perspective on diabetic foot care with knowledge from both academic learning and personal experiences.

Andrew is a qualified podiatrist with 1st class honours from the University of East London.  Andrew branched into podiatry following completion of a BA (Hons) in Sport Coaching and Development from the University of Brighton.  Andrew has worked both privately and for the NHS.  His NHS work includes wound care clinics, nail surgery, new patient triage assessments and home visits to high risk and vulnerable patients.  Andrew works at Beckenham Foot Care at weekends only as he continues to work for the NHS.  

 

At Beckenham Foot Care Andrew carries out nail surgery and verrucae needling.  He also has an interest in biomechanics, diagnostic ultrasound imaging and insole manufacture. 

 

Andrew has completed a PGCert in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary University, London.
